A strong level of English is required, as all classes are taught in English.

Registration takes place in 5 steps:
1. An information meeting (by phone or in person) with a team member to present the program and define your training path.
2. If applicable, an interview and/or audition (required for 3rd-year Composition actors).
3. A one-hour registration meeting to finalize the contract, internal rules, and payment.
4. Enrollment in weekly classes requires a full academic year commitment (late September to June 30), beginning with an intensive integration week focused on Stanislavski and Actors Studio methods.
5. Late enrollment is possible depending on availability, with a staggered start (e.g., January to December).

Eligibility:
No prerequisites are required for 1st-year entry.
Direct access to the 2nd year is rare and only possible for students already trained in the method at specialized institutions.
However, students enrolled in the 1st year may be evaluated after the first trimester and could be offered access to some 2nd-year classes, depending on their progress and background.

Contenu, objectif et condition de validation de la formation :

Educational Objective:
The Acting in English scene study class is open to actors of all levels who want to work internationally and develop their skills through scenes and monologues in English.

Program / Training Content:
The course is structured around three main classes:
- Exploration 1: Foundational acting training focused on imagination, body awareness, and emotional expression. Through group exercises, actors develop focus, confidence, and the ability to create authentic performances.
- Backstory: Scene work in pairs, centered on building fictional relationships. Actors move from improvisation to structured scenes while maintaining natural, truthful performances. The final term focuses on scenes from plays and screenplays.
- Scenes 1: A workshop on subtext and nonverbal acting. Through silent or text-free situations, actors learn to convey meaning using body language and emotion.

Additional work includes character development, improvisation, and voice training, particularly for actors working in a second language.

Note:
A basic understanding of French is required. Some classes (notably Scenes 1) are conducted in French alongside French-speaking actors, but bilingual coaches are available to assist in English if needed.
